He has also appeared on the reality television series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and Sober House. Binzer was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He attended Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California. He began his music career in the early 1990s as a member of the rap group The Brimstone Sluggers. He then joined the rap rock group Crazy Town, which released its debut album, The Gift of Game, in 1999. The album was a success, spawning the hit single "Butterfly", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Binzer has also appeared in several films, including The Chase (1994), The Big Hit (1998), and The New Guy (2002).
